Little Lorikeet
Glossopsitta Pusilla
Lorikeets are loud and constantly chirp.
Brightly covered in green feathers too help with camouflage in the trees.
Lorikeets live all over Australia wherever there are trees, for example dry open eucalypt forests and woodlands.
The bird enclosure was large and netted with lots of trees for the birds to fly around and rest on.
In the second photo you can see the net behind the other bird which isn't a little lorikeet.
The netted area was shared by 9 types of birds one type of bird it kept was the little lorikeet.
They are called "little" lorikeets because they are little, roughly 16 to 19 centimeters.
